- Space Available. After student applications for introductory seminars have been reviewed, courses that have space available can be found by searching fspwizard.stanford.edu. In the search parameter bar, select the quarter, move down and check the box for "Space Available".
- Attend the class(es) that interest you and obtain instructor permission before enrolling in Axess.
Applications for the Current Quarter
- Search for Courses. Use the course selection worksheet to notate your interests; see Further Resources below.
- Apply. Applications happen through the new fspwizard web site.
- Application status. Admission to Introductory Seminars is by instructor selection. Your application status (Accepted, Waitlisted #, Not admitted) will be posted on December 19. Check back at fspwizard.stanford.edu for this information. Attend the first class meetings of the course to which you are admitted/waitlisted and intend/want to enroll.
- Enroll: Be sure to enroll for the course in Axess. If your application status is "Admit", go in to Axess and search for the class number and register for the course.
- Do not attempt to enroll in Axess without instructor permission.
- PERMISSION NUMBERS: Previously some seminars required permission numbers. Now those numbers are linked to SUID within Axess. If you are admitted to one of these courses, go into Axess and search for the class number. Then when you enter your SUID, the system will permit you to successfully enroll and the course will appear on your study list.
- Options. You may not have been admitted to your choices but check fspwizard.stanford.edu to search for courses with space available.
