Key Dates and Deadlines for Winter 2009 Enrollment

Tuesday, November 18, 5 p.m.: Section Preference Form opens online. Follow the links above to view section descriptions and submit preferences. You may submit a new Section Preference Form as many times as you wish.  Each one submitted erases the previous one, and no priority is given for earlier submission.

Friday, December 5, 5 p.m.: Deadline to submit Section Preference Form. 

Friday, December 12, 5 p.m.: Section assignments are posted on our web page.  Petition to Change Section Assignment Form opens.  As with the Section Preference Form, you may submit this form multiple times whenever it is open; each new form erases all previous petitions, and no priority is given for earlier submission.

Monday, December 15, 3 p.m.: Petition to Change Section Assignment Form (called “Petition Form” in the rest of this document) closes for Winter Break.

Friday, January 2, Noon: Petition Form re-opens. Petition Form will remain open until Sunday, January 4, at 7 p.m.   

Sunday, January 4, 7 p.m.:  Petition Form closes.

Monday, January 5, 9 a.m.:  Results of petitions are posted. All previous petitions are erased.  Petition Form re-opens until 5 p.m.

Monday, January 5, 5 p.m.: Petition Form closes.

Monday, January 5, 7 p.m.:  Results of petitions are posted. All previous petitions are erased.  Petition Form re-opens until Tuesday, January 6, at 5 p.m.

Tuesday, January 6: Instruction Begins. Attendance at your assigned PWR section is mandatory for all of the first three class sessions. Failure to attend will result in an automatic drop from the section.

Tuesday, January 6, 5 p.m.: Petition Form closes.

Tuesday, January 6, 7 p.m.: Results of petitions are posted. All previous petitions are erased. Petition Form re-opens until Wednesday, January 7, at 5 p.m.

Wednesday, January 7, 5 p.m.: Petition Form closes.

Wednesday, January 7, 7 p.m.:  Results of petitions are posted.

Thursday, January 8: If you still need to change your section assignment, please come to the PWR office (Sweet Hall 316A) during our regular office hours, 8 a.m.-noon and 1 p.m.-5 p.m.

Thursday, January 8: Axess updated. Current section assignments are posted to Winter Quarter study lists.  Current section assignments will be posted to Axess several times over the next two weeks.
